What a day! Today, J had his first field trip with me as a chaperone. He was so excited to go on a real school bus! LOL We went to a children's museum and had a really good time. Of course, Mommy is so absent-minded that she forgot that she was going and needed to pack a lunch, so all she and J had to eat were bananas, goldfish crackers and some beef jerkey that she found and threw in a backpack.
J got to see a real, live turkey. I told him that's what we eat at Thanksgiving. Instead of getting a little sad, the kid started saying, "Here turkey, turkey....I'm gonna eatcha!" I have a carnivore for a child.
Tonight I have my sleep study. I have to go to the study office and be hooked up to wires and whatnot. I am taking a book to read since I am sure I won't be able to just drop off to sleep like they would prefer.
Sunday, we are having a small b'day party for J. Just immediate family will be coming, but the house has to be sterilized before I will allow anyone to come in. It's just plain a mess!
I'm working on a short story called Rosalie and the Snake. As soon as I finish it, I will post it for your reading pleasure. Until then, that's all folks!

"I believe that no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, you can not baptize cats." - Larry the Cable Guy
A Tennessee man and an Alabama man were both fighting in a war and were captured by the enemy.
"Before we put you to death," said the enemy, "do you have any last requests?"
"Yes," said the Alabaman. "Could you play 'Yeah, Alabama' before you shoot me?"
"Sure," said the enemy. "How about you, Tennessean?"
"Could you shoot me before you play 'Yeah, Alabama?'"
