Waiting is so Difficult!
I am still waiting to hear from a few online magazines regarding some poems I submitted a couple of months ago.

It is driving me crazy!

I know it is better to just keep on writing and don't think about submissions, and I have done that to a point, but it is past the time they said they usually answer so I am a bit over-anxious.

What is the ettiquite (did I spell that correctly? Spellcheck didn't know either) in this case? Do I email them for an update? Do I give them another month or so?

I would really like to re-submit them elsewhere if they aren't going to be used, but I don't know how long I should wait.

Anyone have suggestions? Comments?

"I believe that no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, you can not baptize cats." - Larry the Cable Guy

A Tennessee man and an Alabama man were both fighting in a war and were captured by the enemy.
"Before we put you to death," said the enemy, "do you have any last requests?"
"Yes," said the Alabaman. "Could you play 'Yeah, Alabama' before you shoot me?"
"Sure," said the enemy. "How about you, Tennessean?"
"Could you shoot me before you play 'Yeah, Alabama?'"
