Well, I decided to take some time and sit down and write a little bit so y'all won't think I'm dead or something.

Lots has been going on up here. I quit the wine business as I was losing money on the whole deal. It was fun, but I just couldn't put all the time into it as I could have. My last wine tasting was my sister's down in South Carolina at the Marine Air base in Beaufort. I figured that I'd go out in style.
The weather was hot in Beaufort. And I mean HOT! In the 100's and that's a fact. Christy's car's air conditioner was broken, we had to ride in her car since all the kids wouldn't fit in mine, so we were miserable, especially the day we went to the beach.



Anyway, I am now devoting my time to making jewelry and selling at craft shows all year round. And the best thing is: I really enjoy it!

I had planned on cleaning the house today, but I think I will take the rest of Sunday off for a change. Tomorrow the kids start school and I will be the school librarian again, so I need some peace and quiet today.
