Being from Alabama, you'd think I'd listen to country music and wear overalls, but I don't. I don't really like country music (recently I was teased by my friend's husband for not knowing who Clint Black was) and the only denim I wear is jeans.
I try to be cultured and refined, like a southern belle, but lately, my redneck side is coming out full blast!
I was watching Blue Collar TV the other night and I was snorting and chuckling until I cried. There was this one skit where a man is in his casket and the mourners are saying how lifelike he looks, like he was sleeping. One of them says, No, he doesn't look like he's sleeping and then proceeds to switch the corpse's clothes. The camera then show the deceased wearing red boxer shorts, a sleeveless t-shirt, one hand holding a beer and the other one down his shorts!!!
The country humor is so good. You don't have to be from the south to enjoy their humor and you don't even have to make fun of how stupid those crazy southerners are...some of us will just do it for you. LOL

"I believe that no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, you can not baptize cats." - Larry the Cable Guy
A Tennessee man and an Alabama man were both fighting in a war and were captured by the enemy.
"Before we put you to death," said the enemy, "do you have any last requests?"
"Yes," said the Alabaman. "Could you play 'Yeah, Alabama' before you shoot me?"
"Sure," said the enemy. "How about you, Tennessean?"
"Could you shoot me before you play 'Yeah, Alabama?'"
