I mean, I already know how I did since I was there, but I still worried that I would come across as too fat, too stupid, too nervous...
Well, I did look too fat. Can't help that since I AM fat, but I didn't know my southern accent was so pronounced. I guess that's why people still come up to me and ask me where I'm from.
I didn't look stupid. Nervous? Yes, but that's understandable. It was my first interview.
The only thing I wish I could do over is read one of my southern humor stories on air instead of all the poems. But I didn't even think about it at the time.
All I'm thinkin' now is, "Dang! When did I get a second chin?"
