Well, I finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows just now and all I can say is that I cried like a baby. Unlike some, who delight in the spoilers, I won't say a word except that no matter how sad this book is, it is the best one by far that she has written.
My sons and husband decided they would rather read spoilers online than read the book. I refused. It's not the same. It's like having sex without the foreplay, you just don't get the same satisfaction like the delving into places unknown. So, I read until 3am this morning and then read the rest this afternoon. And I was rewarded by an immensely good book.
It's sad saying goodbye to an old friend. J.K. Rowlings Potter series has been a good run. It's given us an imaginary place to yearn for, magical terms and people to miss, and I know that I, for one, will miss the anticipation of wondering what will happen next at Hogwarts.
