Well, as we get set for another trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, I have to share this memory from the early 1990's.
I worked at Disney World in the late 80's and early 90's (WDW College Program, etc...) and met some great friends there. One year, after graduating college, my friends who still lived in the Orlando area, decided to give me a birthday to remember.
I had a scavenger hunt.
And not just any scavenger hunt, but a Disney hunt that spanned all three (at the time there was no Animal Kingdom) parks plus hotels. It started at home. I recieved a note telling me where my first clue was located. It was on Main Street at the Magic Kingdom. (We could go anywhere on Disney property since we were employees, so it wasn't a problem, you see.)
Now, after getting the first clue, I don't remember exactly where the next one was, but it basically went like this: get clue in MK, go to Epcot. Get clue there and go to Polynesian Hotel beach. Dig for clue in sand (my friend Scott was obligingly sitting near the area to dig, thus saving me time). Go back to MK, get clue. Got to Disney-MGM Studios and get clue from cast member...you get the picture. My birthday presents were hidden in the last place to be found. I have to say it was the best fun I have ever had getting birthday presents. Since all my friends worked at Disney, they talked their fellow castmates into participating as well, so I had employees all over the place handing me clues.
My Disney days were some of the best days of my life. Ahhh, youth! I'll have to tell more stories later, such as the one where I met Mr. Eisner. He he he.
My Disney jobs: Haunted Mansion maid, Great Movie Ride tour guide, Great Movie Ride bankrobber.
My Universal Studio jobs: ET ride, Earthquake, Jaws! Yes, I shot the shark. LOL

"I believe that no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, you can not baptize cats." - Larry the Cable Guy
A Tennessee man and an Alabama man were both fighting in a war and were captured by the enemy.
"Before we put you to death," said the enemy, "do you have any last requests?"
"Yes," said the Alabaman. "Could you play 'Yeah, Alabama' before you shoot me?"
"Sure," said the enemy. "How about you, Tennessean?"
"Could you shoot me before you play 'Yeah, Alabama?'"
