Well folks, I have to say I am pleased with myself. My short story, The Three Little Pigs, won Honorable mention in the Long Story Short Twisted Fairy Tale Contest!!! I didn't first or second, but technically it was third place. For a first contest, I think I made out pretty well. It definitely gives me a boost of confidence. I even have a press release to send out. I am almost afraid to send one though. LOL I've never had to before.

According to the editor, the results will be listed on Long Story Short's website on August 7th. I can't wait to see who won. Y'all check it out. There's some good writing on that website.
