Give a Big Howdy...
...to one of my regular renters, Jeremy, over at Haunted House Dressing. He has a cute Secret Santa project going on. He says,
"Here's how it works. E-mail me your name and blog site. Eventually you'll be e-mailed back with the blogger you'll be Secret Santa-ing for. The gifts we'll be giving are digital gifts. Photographs, drawings, poems, etc. Anything that could be displayed on a blog. You can be as thoughtful as you want to be. Once you know who your blogger is check out his or her site. Make a gift that you know he or she will love or find hilarious. Give the gift to your blogger on December 25, 26, or any day you choose during the holiday season. This program is for anyone who wishes to celebrate the holiday season and spread happiness, humor, and good feelings throughout the land."
I joined up and am in the process of making my gift. Y'all go on over and join up too. It'll be fun!
Also, he has a cute puppet cartoon called Recycled (see above photo). You can vote on the next character, which is at this moment, a rotten banana. Maybe it might be a G-a-z-o-o?
So go on over to Haunted House Dressing and tell Jeremy that Southern Gal sentcha!

"I believe that no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, you can not baptize cats." - Larry the Cable Guy
A Tennessee man and an Alabama man were both fighting in a war and were captured by the enemy.
"Before we put you to death," said the enemy, "do you have any last requests?"
"Yes," said the Alabaman. "Could you play 'Yeah, Alabama' before you shoot me?"
"Sure," said the enemy. "How about you, Tennessean?"
"Could you shoot me before you play 'Yeah, Alabama?'"
