Anyway, since I missed last week's Wednesday recipes and Friday's Features, I will include both in today's posts.

The recipe for today is for Peach Cobbler. Cobblers are a delicious, hot fruit dessert popular in the southern states. Since it is late and I am too lazy to get off my tush and write down my grandmother's recipe, I found one that is very similar on the internet to copy and paste. LOL My kids love peach cobbler and you can use any kind of fruit, not just peaches. You can make blackberry cobbler, apple cobbler, strawberry cobbler, you name it. It's so simple, I know you will love it.
GRANNY'S PEACH COBBLER
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 c. milk
1/4 c. butter, melted
1 lg. can peaches
NOTE: Any fruit may be substituted.
Mix sugar and flour. Add milk and butter. Use mixer to blend. Pour mixture over peaches. Bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes. Sugar and cinnamon may be sprinkled on top. Dot with butter after crust begins to form.
Top with a scoop of ice cream while cobbler is still warm.
And if you are still in a peachy mood, check out this amazing website, Homestead Farm, just full of more peach recipes! I have got to try the peach ice cream one!

Ok, for our Features section, I was going to feature the Big Bamboo, a really interesting bar in Kissimmee, Florida that I used to go to after work. It was a hang out for Disney employees (yes I was one at one time and I even left my name tag there with all the thousands of others on the wall). But, according to roadsideamerica.com, the Big Bamboo is finally closed.
The Bamboo was an institution in Kissimmee. Everyone knew of it and most everyone in the area had been to it. It's Hawaiian tiki bar atmosphere was comfortable, entertaining and unique in it's own way.
Farewell Big Bamboo! You shall be missed!
