If y'all have been around and read my blog long enough, you'll know that I suffer from depression. Suffer. What a strange word. I don't exactly suffer, but I experience chronic low moods, low energy, low libido, etc... And that's mostly from the Effexor. It evens you out, but makes you practically a zombie at the same time.

It's not working well and I need to get back to the doctor and see what my other choices are.

You see, when I had my first son, I got post-partum pretty bad. It finally went away after about a year and then when I had my second son, it came back just as bad. That time I went to the doctor and was put on meds. Now it doesn't seem to get any better.

Does someone who has had post partum and it turned into chronic depression ever get better? I didn't used to be this way. I was always cheerful and full of energy before having children. Now it's like I am a different person.

I have lots of good days, but almost as many bad days, and it definitely affects my writing. Not to mention my family.

Anyway, I guess the point to all of this drivel is that today is a bad day in that I just plain don't care. I am not unhappy, I just have no desire to do anything. Or write anything.
