Well, not exactly yet, but it is going to be and I have no air conditioning.
"Oh, poor baby!" you are probably saying.
I know. I'm a wimp. I'm spoiled. The pioneers had it hard and had to deal with nature every day.
"Yes, you are correct," I say.
I am spoiled rotten. I love my air conditioner and it is not working. We had a guy come out late last night after 10 pm to look at our unit. Thank God for small favors. Turns out our air conditioner should have been serviced quite a few times in the last ten years we have been here.
Go figure.
I didn't know that. Hubby obviously didn't know that.
Our air conditioner is a vewy sick puppy. But he's coming back out tonight to make it all better. In the meantime, I shall perspire....um I mean persevere.

"I believe that no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, you can not baptize cats." - Larry the Cable Guy
A Tennessee man and an Alabama man were both fighting in a war and were captured by the enemy.
"Before we put you to death," said the enemy, "do you have any last requests?"
"Yes," said the Alabaman. "Could you play 'Yeah, Alabama' before you shoot me?"
"Sure," said the enemy. "How about you, Tennessean?"
"Could you shoot me before you play 'Yeah, Alabama?'"
