That's the best title I could come up with today since that is what I am. So much going on! Whew!
Tonight I am attending my first office Christmas party with my husband. It is going to be in the Loop downtown at some fancy seafood restaurant called Joe's. It looks very nice. I did notice, however, they serve fried green tomatoes. I have never seen that at a northern restaurant before.
In the past, the hubby's offices had the Christmas parties for employees only, so I never got to go. He has been at this new office ( he's a CPA) only a couple of weeks, and since it is a smaller office, spouses are invited.
I am looking forward to it. I went out to Lane Bryants and bought some lovely tops and some slacks, so I have my outfit. Here's the top I am wearing if you are interested. It is the blue one with the mandarin collar.
But, before I can have fun, I must work at the school's library today for a few hours. I simply must go highlight my hair, and I have to do my nails. They look all bitten off and rugged. Can't make a good impression with chewed up nails, now can we?
Now that I have bored you silly, I will say "bye y'all" and let you get on with your lives.
Oh, and by the way, it is a chilly 13 degrees here in the Windy City and snow on the ground. Fun, huh?

"I believe that no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, you can not baptize cats." - Larry the Cable Guy
A Tennessee man and an Alabama man were both fighting in a war and were captured by the enemy.
"Before we put you to death," said the enemy, "do you have any last requests?"
"Yes," said the Alabaman. "Could you play 'Yeah, Alabama' before you shoot me?"
"Sure," said the enemy. "How about you, Tennessean?"
"Could you shoot me before you play 'Yeah, Alabama?'"
