Today, I'm not pulling out all the stops for a feature post. It's been a long day, folks. But, while surfing the web tonight, trying to find something of note to write about, I came across Chief Henry in Cherokee, North Carolina.

When I was a kid, my parents took my sister and I to the Great Smoky Mountains frequently, and one particular time took us into Cherokee, NC. You see, my dad has some Cherokee blood from an ancestoress of his and he was hoping to find out about her while there.

Meanwhile, my sister and I had our picture made with an Indian outside his teepee.

I am wondering if it was Chief Henry.

Anyway, I will do an in-detail post after we get back from our Smoky Mountains vacation in July, but until then, enjoy roadsideamerica.com. There's some wacky stuff on that site.
