Hey y'all! Just got back tonight and I am beat! Had a blast though and didn't want to return. Seriously, I was just about ready to do some land squatting in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
It was beautiful. Haven't been there in about 20 years and really enjoyed familiarizing myself with it all over again. If y'all have visited Gatlinburg, you'll know what I am talking about when I say there are certain traditions you have to adhere to such as getting your old-timey picture made or getting an air-brush t-shirt proclaiming you "have visited Gatlinburg!" Well, we did what was expected and had a fun time to boot. I looked all over for days for the perfect t-shirt souvenier for myself, but just couldn't find anything that appealed to me. That is, until today. We had actually left Gatlinburg and was heading out of Tennessee when we stopped at a Cracker Barrel. There it was - the perfect t-shirt for me:
"What Part of Y'all Don't You Understand?"
I guess you had to be there.
Anyway, I'll write more about our adventures later, but for now here are a few pictures from the trip. Enjoy!

"I believe that no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, you can not baptize cats." - Larry the Cable Guy
A Tennessee man and an Alabama man were both fighting in a war and were captured by the enemy.
"Before we put you to death," said the enemy, "do you have any last requests?"
"Yes," said the Alabaman. "Could you play 'Yeah, Alabama' before you shoot me?"
"Sure," said the enemy. "How about you, Tennessean?"
"Could you shoot me before you play 'Yeah, Alabama?'"
