I am sooo sick of driving!

I have been to Alabama, then to South Carolina, back to Alabama and then back to Illinois. It is good to be home.

But I did have fun. I did things I have never done before like party with Marine aviators and throw beer bottles at paintings of infamous dictators; visit a Civil War fort and almost throw up on the boat ride out to it; eat she-crab soup; see someone get stung by a jellyfish; go on board an aircraft carrier, visit Charleston, SC; see a motorcycle museum; drive over the biggest dang bridge I have ever seen, etc...

In the following days, I am going to be busy getting the kids ready for school on Monday and finding volunteers for the library and all. Not looking forward to that, but it has to be done.

Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say "Howdy" and thanks for coming by and reading my little ol' blog here.
